Area resident Tucker Lee has sadly passed after a hard-fought battle with cancer over the past several months.
Lee passed away Wednesday after battling NUT carcinoma a rare form of cancer that is typically found in the head, neck and lungs. The cancer was first discovered back in April.
A number of fundraising events were placed on the community calendar recently to support Lee and his family including a biscuits and gravy fundraiser at the Lyon County Fairgrounds and a silent auction at Town Royal last Saturday. Activities are still scheduled in honor of Lee including the Trukin’ for Tucker Virtual 5-K which will be open from Jun. 19-27.
