Emporia Community Foundation Celebrates continued Tuesday with the latest round of surprise grant announcements.
Hetlinger Developmental Services received a $500 grant to continue its work with the developmentally disabled, while the Eastside Community Group received $500 for ongoing park improvements.
Chase County Children’s Fund and the Olpe Veterans Memorial Fund have also received $500 grants this week.
The Emporia Community Foundation is granting $5,000 in total this week to mark the organization’s 25th anniversary — a year later than planned due to coronavirus. The $5,000 represents the initial amount in the fund.
