Small caseload increases continue for area counties as the coronavirus pandemic continues.
Chase County added three cases to move its overall total to 209 in the community category. There is one active case and there have been three deaths. There have also been three cases of the B.1.1.7 UK variant.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment says Chase County’s total, including prior outbreaks at noncongregate facilities, is 277 cases.
Morris County added two cases, so its total is 632. There are two active cases and there have been 23 deaths. There has also been one case of the P.1 Japan/Brazil variant.
