Emporia Community Foundation Celebrates went north and south of Emporia for surprise grant announcements Thursday.
Community Foundation administrators gave a surprise $500 grant to the North Lyon County Youth Association to help capital improvement projects. Another $500 grant went to Main Street Mommas in Madison for remodeling a youth center.
The weeklong celebration of the Emporia Community Foundation’s 25th anniversary will culminate Friday with two more surprise grant awards. More information is available at www.emporiacf.org.
