In NBA playoff action from Saturday:
*Milwaukee overcame Kevin Durant’s 48 points to edge Brooklyn and win Game 7 of their series 115-111 in overtime. Giannis Antetokounpo scored 40 and added 13 rebounds for the Bucks, who now await the winner of the Philadelphia-Atlanta series in the Eastern Conference Finals. Game 7 in that series is Sunday night.
Meanwhile, the Western Conference Finals begin Sunday afternoon when the Los Angeles Clippers head to Phoenix. Suns guard Chris Paul will miss Game 1 due to health and safety protocols, although it hasn’t been announced whether that is due to COVID-19 contact tracing or an infection.
