Area counties are demonstrating marginal coronavirus activity over the past week, and one area county had a caseload decrease.
Based on stats from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Greenwood County went from 572 total cases to 571. KDHE has not said why it adjusted the county total. The death toll remains unchanged at 11.
Elsewhere across the area, based on KDHE stats:
*Chase County remained flat at 277 total cases and three deaths
*Coffey County was steady at 750 cases and 23 deaths
*Morris County has 591 total cases and 23 deaths. The state count is noticeably lower than the county’s announced total of 632. Reasons have not been announced. Deaths remain steady at 23.
*Osage County has 1,266 cases, up one from last Wednesday. The death toll remains at 26.
*Wabaunsee County has 689 cases, flat from a week ago. The death toll remains at 13.
