The Royals answered with 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning.
Hunter Dozier drove in 2 runs with a double and Edward Olivares hit a 2 run homerun.
The Royals added 2 more runs in the 5th inning. Salvador Perez double to drive in Jorge Soler and then scored on a sacrifice fly by Hunter Dozier.
The Royals used 5 pitchers, Danny Duffy started and lasted 4 innings giving up 2 runs on 6 hits.
Kyle Zimmer was the winning pitcher, Scott Barlow earned his 4th save.

The Royals have traded Kelvin Gutierrez to Baltimore for cash considerations. Gutierrez was designated for assignment last week.
The Royals have also traded Alcides Escobar to the Washington Nationals for cash.
Escobar was playing for the Omaha Storm Chasers.
