More prize winners were announced Friday as the Greater Emporia Area Disaster Relief Fund continued the #VaxToNormal incentive campaign.

*Angela Marcotte won $50 in Emporia Main Street gift certificates, courtesy of UnitedHealthcare
*Ben Baldridge, Larry Guerro, Diego Rodriguez and Gayle Whitsitt won Disaster Relief Fund community packs including a $20 gift card from Radius Brewing and $10 gif cards from Granada Coffee Company, Gravel City Roasters and the Sweet Granada.
Drawings continue every Friday through Sept. 10, when the campaign concludes with a grand prize drawing. So far, there is one COVID-19 vaccination event on the schedule — this upcoming Saturday from 8-10 am at Emporia’s Riverside Elementary. Everyone who gets vaccinated will receive a $10 Emporia Main Street gift certificate. Testing will be available as well through a partnership involving Lyon County Public Health and Rad X. Residents who get tested will get a $20 gift certificate.
The campaign is designed to increase COVID-19 vaccination rates for Lyon County, all surrounding counties and Woodson County. Fully-vaccinated residents and students of Emporia State University or Flint Hills Technical College can enter for prizes online at www.geadisasterrelieffund.org.
