Emporia’s return to the pre-pandemic normals continued Sunday with the city’s Fourth of July fireworks display.
After not having a show last year due to COVID-19, Bernie Toso and a cadre of volunteers organized a roughly 30-minute show — and, as has been the case for over a decade, residents flocked to the Emporia State University campus to watch the display.
