Sporting Kansas City celebrated the 4th of July with a 2-0 win over the LA Galaxy.
For the time being, Sporting Kansas City has vaulted ahead of the Seattle Sounders for first place in the Western Conference and Supporters’ Shield races. They’re the first team to reach 13 regular-season games in 2021, and now will enter a buy week as combined with the impending Gold Cup break.
