Kansas is getting one of its top players back for his senior season. Ochai Agbaji a potential 2nd round NBA Draft pick has withdrawn from the NBA draft and return to Kansas for his senior season.
Agbaji, a 6-foot-6 wing, was named All-Big 12 honorable mention for each of the past two years, averaging 14.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.1 steals in 34 minutes per game, shooting 37% from 3-point range last season.
Agbaji, the No. 67 prospect in the ESPN 100, will go into next season as a potential first-round pick and Big 12 player of the year candidate.
Super-senior transfer guard Remy Martin has also removed his name from the 2021 NBA Draft and will attend Kansas for the 2021-22 season. Martin declared for the draft following the 2020-21 season and announced in May that he would transfer to KU from Arizona State if he did not remain in the NBA draft.
Martin led the Pac-12 with 19.1 points per game, including 21.5 ppg in conference play. He posted a conference-best four, 30-point outings and his 12 games of 20 or more points for the season were also a Pac-12 best. Martin also averaged 2.04 three-point field goals made, 3.7 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in 2020-21.
