Emporia Golfer Brooks Sauder has earned a spot in the Kansas Mens Amateur Match Play tournament.
Sauder tied for 28th place with a 2 over par 74 and finished in the top 42 at the 2nd chance qualifier at Eagle Bend in Lawrence Tuesday.
He joins Gentry Scheve, Caleb Schmid, and Caden Massey as qualifiers for the Kansas Amateur Match Play tournament to be played July 20th thru 25th at Crestview Country Club in Wichita.
5 Emporia Golfers played in a Kansas Junior Tour Tournament at Terradyne Tuesday. In the boys 16 and older division, Caden Massey tied for 17th place with an 80.
In the boys 13-15 age division, Hudson Sauder tied for 9th place with an 85. Nolan Jacob tied for 11th place with an 87.
In the girls 16 and older division, Avary Eckert finished in 7th place with an 86 and Olivia Eckert finished in 8th place with a 91.
Wednesday Brooks Sauder and Hudson Sauder are entered in a Junior Tour Tournament at Hesston.
