Emporia Main Street will host its Junior Worlds Carnival Friday night.
The carnival will be from 6 pm to 9 pm at the 900 block of Commercial Street. Emporia Main Street Director Casey Woods spoke on what the carnival has to offer.
Each ticket purchased for one of the carnival’s activities goes to local non-profit groups. The carnival is the first of many events on the community calendar through Emporia Main Street throughout the summer.
