The Cleveland Indians crushed the Kansas City Royals 14-6 Saturday.
The Indians took the lead for good with 6 runs in the 4th inning after the Royals had scored 2 runs in the top of the 4th on a Salvador Perez 2 run home run.
Andrew Benintendi hit a solo home run in the 6th inning.
But the Royals could not overcome 4 Cleveland home runs that drove in 8 runs.
The Royals play their final game before the All-Star break Sunday Afternoon against Cleveland. The first pitch is set for 12:10 pm. The Game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
Whit Merrifield has been added to the American League All-Star roster. He takes the place of Houston second baseman Jose Altuve. It will be the 2nd All-Star game selection for Merrifield. He will join Salvador Perez in Tuesdays All-Star game.
Royals prospects Bobby Witt Jr and Nick Prado will be playing in the Futures game Sunday night in Denver.
