The Emporia Senior American Legion baseball team tunes up for this weekend’s zone tournament with a 9 inning game against the Topeka Senators Wednesday night.
The first pitch is set for 6 pm at Sodens Grove.
Emporia will be hosting a zone tournament beginning Friday.
Post 5 will play Ottawa at 6 pm. The winner of that game will play Pittsburg at 8 pm.
Two more games will be played Saturday at 3 pm and 5 pm. An if necessary is scheduled for Sunday. Pittsburg will be hosting the State tournament July 28th thru the 31st.
