The American League defeated the National League 5-2 in the Major League Baseball All-Star game Tuesday night. It was the 8th Straight win for the American League.
Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was named the game’s MVP after he hit a home run in the third inning to give the AL an early 2-0 lead. At 22, he became the youngest All-Star Game MVP.
As for Kansas City Royals players, Salvador Perez struck out twice and Whit Merrifield struck out and grounded into a fielders choice.
The Royals resume play Friday night when they begin a 3 game series with Baltimore in Kansas City.
