The National Weather Service has updated the watch effecting Chase and Greenwood counties. The watch now goes until 10 am Friday morning. Lyon, Coffey, Morris, Osage and Wabaunsee counties remain in a separate watch until 10 pm Thursday.

Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are possible. TV-13 meteorologist Doug Meyers says we could see two inches of rain or more during the alert period.
The Weather Service says rainfall rates could reach 3 to 4 inches an hour. Current rain totals:
