COVID-19 cases continued a moderate downward trend Monday.
In its most recent update, Lyon County Public Health reported just one new case bringing the overall total to 4,352 cases since late last March. 10 recoveries were also reported dropping the active case total from 40 to 31.
Monday’s decrease follows a similar report from Friday after 21 new cases were reported last Wednesday giving the county its largest overall and active case increases in several months.
Lyon County currently has 28 variant cases including 10 of the delta variant and 18 of the alpha variant.
Deaths were unchanged at 86 with one case pending final cause information from KDHE. Active hospitalizations remain at 2.
