Hetlinger Developmental Services, Inc. and Team Schnak have collaborated again in preparation to host their 3rd Field Day this Friday.
With the many activities including biking, disc golf, cornhole and art stations, Team Schnak co-founder Kent Schnakenberg said that the Hetlinger Field Day will be an opportunity for everyone to have some fun.
It is the purpose of Hetlinger Developmental Services, Inc. to provide people with developmental delays and disabilities a place to thrive.
The organization had to move out the clientele and staff in March 2020 when health concerns rose due to COVID-19. When people started returning to the building in June 2020, everyone was excited to get back to what it was like before the pandemic started. The Hetlinger Field Day Friday gives an opportunity to get back to normal, have fun and show support.
The activities will be 12:30pm-1:30pm. Hetlinger is located at 707 S. Commercial St.
