The Kansas City Royals hope to extend their current winning streak to three games when they start a three-game series at home against Detroit on Friday night.
The Royals, who had lost two of three against Baltimore — the worst team in the American League — rebounded by winning both road games in Milwaukee, the team with the fourth-best record in the National League.
