Large-scale events continue in Emporia, but one activity in Morris County is now off the calendar due to COVID-19.
The Morris County Community Baby Shower was canceled Friday. The event, which was set to include community resources, parenting materials, safe sleep education and prize giveaways, was tentatively set for Aug. 7 in Council Grove.
Morris County residents are asked to check their emails for survey information to help the Health Department plan ahead for a similar event in the future.
