A Missouri man and Kansas City, KS woman were arrested Saturday in Osage County on suspicion of drug-related activity.
According to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells, illegal narcotics were located in a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Robert L. McMillin of Independence, MO during a traffic stop at milepost 133 on US Highway 75 just before 10:20 pm. McMillin was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, driving while license is revoked, and illegal registration.
A passenger, identified as 36-year-old Sandra L. Cecil of Kansas City, was also apprehended on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and transporting an open container of alcohol.
Formal charges are pending.
