Osage and Coffey counties are scheduled for highway improvements starting Aug. 4.
K-31 will be restricted to one lane from west of K-31/U.S. 75 junction to Main Steet in Melvern, then south to I 35.
K-131in Coffey County will also be restricted to one lane from the northern outskirts of Lebo, extending farther north for half a mile to the K-131/I 35 junction.
Both are to be directed by signs, cones, and pilot cars. The projects are projected to be completed by late October.
Drivers on either route should expect a 15-minute delay.
