Minor injuries were suspected after a crash in a road construction zone near Emporia on Thursday night.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 23-year-old David Silva-Eraso of Omaha, Nebraska, was driving a semi northbound on the Kansas Turnpike near the Emporia service exit, so about four miles north of the Emporia gate. The semi crossed the dotted line and hit an arrow board shortly before 10 pm. The crash log report does not say why the crash happened.
Silva-Eraso declined a hospital trip. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
