It’s a single-digit increase in new COVID-19 cases for Lyon County.
The county’s Public Health Department announced eight new cases through the past weekend in its report Monday morning. There were seven new recoveries, meaning the active caseload increased from 42 Friday to 43 Monday. There are six breakthrough cases in the active total.
Deaths remained stable at 87 and active hospitalizations remained at two.
This pushes Lyon County’s overall total to 4,406 cases over the past 16 months.
