Economic development continues to be a main concern for Lyon County Commissioners as they prepare for their meeting on Thursday.
Commissioners will review the development project involving A1 Pump & Jet. The changes will allow for the future expansion of the business as they plan for a new facility in Emporia. With the project, A1 can now act as a pass-through for future Community Development Block Grant funding.
Thursday’s meeting will also include consideration for the approval of bids for the Generator #2 Project & Domestic Water Storage Tank Replacement to be deducted from the fund.
A road closing at Road 30 intersection C will be retabled, moving the date of the closure from Thursday, August 12 to Thursday, August 19.
The action session is set for 9am at the Lyon County Courthouse.
