Kansas First District Congressman Tracey Mann has been putting on the miles over the last two weeks.
Mann has been traveling across the Big First to hold a series of town hall meetings, and that itinerary now brings him to the KVOE listening area Friday.
Mann will stop at the Lyon County History Center from 2:15-3:15 pm. The Emporia stop is one of four in the area:
*Morris County: Courthouse Meeting Room, Council Grove, from 10-11 am
*Wabaunsee County: Wabaunsee County Historical Museum, Alma, 11:45 am-12:45 pm
*Chase County: Courthouse Commissioner Room, 3:45-4:45 pm
Mann’s visits to the area come with a lot happening in Washington, DC, including COVID-19 response planning, budget discussions and fallout from the Taliban taking over Afghanistan. More information about Mann’s town hall schedule is online at www.mann.house.gov.
