The Sertoma Club Train is out of commission, possibly through the end of the scheduled train season.
The Sertoma Club announced via Facebook Sunday that the train would be “temporarily closed” due to a mechanical issue. Sertoma Club Vice President Terri Summey.
Summey says they hope to have the train back up and running in the next few weeks and if they do the club will likely offer special rides into September and possibly October. She adds the club will honor any ticket purchases or events that were planned to take place at the train once it is back up and running.
The regular train season was scheduled to end on Aug. 31.
