The Kansas Turnpike Authority is planning to replace to bridges under Kansas Highway 99, and the Kansas Department of Transportation is about to start a field survey for those bridges.
KDOT spokesperson Kate Craft says the bridges are just north of Road 220 and east of Road M. The survey is needed as the agencies design the proposed improvements. The survey will start Monday and could end by Sept. 3.
Property owners and tenants near the bridges are advised that survey crew members will be requesting permission to go onto private property. Survey work will include use of survey instruments to determine different locations of existing items near the bridges.
