Emporia State mens basketball coach Craig Doty has announced the promotion of Evan Lavery to Associate Head Coach.
Coach Lavery says it still remains more about the team.
Coach Lavery has been the top assistant for Coach Doty at Emporia State and had also worked for Coach Doty at Rock Valley Community College.
Emporia State mens basketball also has received a verbal commitment from Jordan Brown a 6-3 guard who will play for Lawrence Free State this year.
