After reaching nearly 50 new cases between reporting periods earlier this month, Lyon County is now apparently settling into a time period of around 30 to 40 new cases.
Wednesday’s report had 31 new cases, the same number as was announced Monday. Active cases increased by three and now sit at 130.
Over 1,200 Lyon County residents under the age of 24 have been infected, or more than a quarter of the over 4,700 total cases. Sixty-one active cases are in this age range. The 18-23 age group leads both categories with 759 cases and 27 active cases.
Deaths remain steady at 88 and active hospitalizations remain at four.
