Emporia Police are investigating after a vehicle pursuit Thursday night.
Police Capt. Ray Mattas says officers saw a vehicle go left of center near US Highway 50 and Graphic Arts Road around 11:15 pm. Officers followed to US 50 and Industrial before trying to stop the vehicle, but the driver allegedly bolted, leading officers into Lyon County.
Officers pursued the vehicle for about 45 minutes before ending the chase without the suspect being apprehended.
Officers are not releasing information about the suspect or suspect vehicle at this time, but Mattas says follow-up on the case will continue.
