The Kansas City Royals outscored the Seattle Mariners 8-7 in 12 innings Friday night.
Salvador Perez hit another grand slam, it came in the 4th inning to tie the game at 5. Its back to back nights that Perez has hit a grand slam and third straight game the Royals have hit a grand slam.
Edward Olivares hit a 2 run home run in the 12th to give the Royals an 8-6 lead.
The Royals and Mariners play again this afternoon, Daniel Lynch will be the starting pitcher with the first pitch at 3:10 pm.
The Royals made several roster moves Friday.
They placed pitcher Brad Keller on the 10-day injury list with a right lat strain.
Josh Staumont was re-instated from the injury list.
Edward Olivares was recalled from Omaha.
The Royals put Jarrod Dyson on waivers two days ago, and the Toronto Blue Jays claimed him on Friday morning.
