A Wichita man was brought to Emporia for medical treatment after a wreck on Interstate 35 west of Lebo on Friday night.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 48-year-old Mai Brang was southbound about three miles west of Lebo when a deer tried to cross the highway shortly before 11 pm. The deer hit the front end of Brang’s SUV.
Brang was taken to Newman Regional Health with suspected minor injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt and was the only person in the vehicle.
