Kansas US Senator Roger Marshall is calling on the Biden administration to make COVID-19 booster shots available for all seniors — and to do so immediately.
The current plan is to make the vaccines available by Sept. 20, with nursing home residents, health care workers and others at high risk having the first chance for a booster shot. Marshall is asking for the shots to be ready now, given the rapid explosion of the COVID-19 delta variant and seniors overall at high risk for severe complications and death.
Marshall is also asking for full FDA approval for all available COVID-19 vaccines.
