It was not a bad start to the season for the Emporia High girls golf team at the Emporia Invitational. Individual 3 Lady Spartans finished in the top 10. Avary Eckert finished in 1st place with a 74.
Olivia Eckert finished in 2nd place with an 83 and Ella Fessler finished in 10th place with a 98.
Winfield won the team title, Blue Valley was 2nd, Dodge City 3rd, and Emporia 4th. Council Grove finished in 6th place. They were led by Eden Crabb who tied for 17th place.
