Kansas State defeated Stanford 24-7 Saturday in their season opener.
Quarterback Skyler Thompson scored 2 rushing touchdowns, a 6-yard run, and a 13-yard run.
Deuce Vaughn scored on a 59-yard run and finished with 124 rushing yards.
The Wildcat defense did not give up a score until late in the 4th quarter.
Kansas State will host Southern Illinois next Saturday for their home opener.
