A preliminary hearing for a man accused of rape in a Lyon County case now won’t take place until next month.
Jordan Dorsey was set to be in court Wednesday but the hearing was delayed at the prosecution’s request. The hearing is now at 2 pm Oct. 6.
The 26-year-old Dorsey stands accused of rape against a woman in mid-June. Officially, he faces 11 counts including three of rape. Dorsey’s also charged with single counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated kidnapping, kidnapping, aggravated battery, theft, criminal threat and criminal trespass.
