Residents are encouraged to celebrate the recovery process with a special event organized by Corner House on Saturday.
Recovery in the Park begins at 10:30 am at the Peter Pan Park arbor. Corner House Community Education and Advocacy Coordinator Autumn Irwin:
Free lunch, including hot dogs, hamburgers, beans, chips and drinks will be provided for upwards of 300 people. Live music starts at 11 am with Carving Canyons, followed by Twisted Dragon at noon and All From Nothing at 1 pm.
KVOE will broadcast from 11 am to 1 pm.
