The Emporia High boys soccer team shut out Topeka Hayden 1-0 Tuesday night. Junior Jefry Linares scored the lone goal of the night. It came with 14:32 to play in the 2nd half.
With the win, the Spartans are now 4-1 for the season. They are scheduled to play at Highland Park Thursday.
