Lyon County deputies have announced the raw data from their recent traffic enforcement campaign.
Deputies were among a host of law enforcement agencies involved in the latest version of “You Drink, You Drive, You Lose” in the two weeks leading up to and through the Labor Day holiday weekend. Deputy Jody Meyers says the Sheriff’s Office made 10 impaired driving arrests and wrote two safety belt citations. There were also 15 speeding citations and another unspecified citation and arrest.
Meyers says there were nearly 160 vehicle stops during the two-week campaign.
