An Osage County man was involved in a wreck that caused potentially serious injuries to a Missouri woman Thursday evening.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 64-year-old William Jones of Melvern was eastbound on US Highway 400 and approaching US-169 in Montgomery County when a westbound vehicle driven by 81-year-old Donna Davis of Springfield, Missouri, crossed the center line and hit Jones’ pickup truck.
Jones was not hurt, but Davis went to Wilson Medical with suspected serious injuries.
Both drivers were the only people in their respective vehicles at the time of the crash. Both were wearing seatbelts.
