Two related items have been added to the Lyon County Commission’s action meeting agenda for Thursday morning.
Commissioners will hold a public hearing for republishing the county budget at 10 am, followed by an official vote around 10:15 am. Commissioners moved forward with this idea three weeks ago to add about $700,000 in budget authority for the Road and Bridge fund and almost $900,000 in budget authority for the multi-year fund, citing the need to account for “unexpected expenses” in both line items.
Already on the agenda is the monthly COVID-19 update from Lyon County Health Officer Dr. Ladun Oyenuga and Public Health Incident Commander Renee Hively, as well as a discussion on computer password policy.
