The Emporia High gymnastics team finished in 3rd place out of 6 teams at a meet at Shawnee Mission Northwest.
Individually Journey Walburn placed 2nd on the floor, 4th on the balance beam, tied for 5th on the vault, 7th on the bars, and 6th All-Around.
Laney Cooper placed 3rd on the floor exercise and Amber Obermeyer placed 5th on the floor exercise.
The Lady Spartans have 2 more meets before State. The next meet will be at Olathe South next Tuesday.
