The Emporia High volleyball team needed all 5 sets to defeat Ottawa Thursday night.
Ottawa won the first 2 sets 25-23 and 26-24. Emporia High bounced back to win the next 3 sets 25-21, 25-13, and 15-7. Senior Rylee Peak led the offense with 22 kills on the night.
The Lady Spartans are now 21-4 for the season. They are next scheduled to play Great Bend and Hillsboro in Great Bend next Thursday.
