Lines were long going into Sacred Heart’s Mexican Supper on Friday — and bellies were full going out.
Sacred Heart School used a drive-thru format for the second straight year due to COVID-19, and Principal Darby O’Neill says things went smoothly. He tells KVOE News the event is a fundraiser for the school, but it’s also a way to build community at the school.
About 900 meals were ordered.
Proceeds go to the school’s Parent Teacher Organization. This year, funds help the school replace its current playground equipment, which has been in place for close to 20 years.
