The Emporia High girls cross country team finished in 1st place and the boys in 4th place at the El Dorado Invitational Saturday.
Elizabeth Willhite finished in 1st place in the girls’ race as the top 5 runners finished in the top 15. Sofia Ruvalcaba finished in 6th place. Micah Sheffy-Harris finished in 8th place. Maryn True finished 13th and Avery Gutierrez 15th.
In the boys’ race for Emporia High, Jonathan Laudie finished in 4th place and Daghyn True finished in 9th place.
Up next for the Emporia High cross country teams will be the Centennial League meet next Saturday.
