Before Plumb Place is officially listed for sale, it will host a paranormal investigation.
The Plumb Place Steering Committee and Flint Hills Paranormal have scheduled what they call “Farewell to the Spirits of Plumb Place.” This is an opportunity for residents to tour the Plumb family home and take in an investigation into the supernatural at the same time.
Tours of the Plumb house will be available to the public from 6-7 pm Oct. 23, with the investigation to follow. Freewill donations are encouraged for the tours, while ticket sales for the investigation will be sold in advance only for $25 each. Donations and ticket sales will benefit the re-establishment of Plumb Place, which has been closed all year after the agency shut down due to ongoing financial difficulties.
This follows an auction Oct. 9 that generated around $16,000 to restart services to women in crisis.
