Lyon County’s home sales declined slightly on a year-to-date level from last year in the latest report from the Sunflower Association of Realtors.
Sunflower says there were 37 home sales in September compared to 43 a year ago and 51 this past August. However, the number of active listings for last month was 43, down from 51 in September 2020. The Lyon County market currently has about 1.2 months; worth of supply.
Homes were on the market a median of five days, down from the nine days in August and 14 from September 2020.
The median sale price across the market was $137,000, down 5.5 percent from the $145,000 in September 2020. The price ranges with the greatest activity were $50,000-$100,000 and $250,000-$300,000. There were seven sales each in those price ranges.
So far this year, 340 homes have sold in Lyon County, up nearly two percent from September last year.
