The Emporia Economic Outlook Conference is coming soon.
The event will be Friday at the Flint Hills Technical College main campus, 3301 West 18th.
As has been the case for years, attendees will get an update on the local, state and national economy from numerous perspectives, including Emporia State School of Business Associate Dean Marc Fusaro presenting information on the state economic index and ESU Department of Mathematics and Economics assistant professor Bekah Selby with a local update. Local realtors Jamie Sauder with Coldwell Banker Emporia Real Estate and Jeff Williams with Ek Real Estate will have a panel discussion on the current real estate situation.
Other presentations will involve the state outlook and a financial update on hospitals.
